Yay for Rain!

I woke up this morning to the sound of rain...love it! This weekend I did two things...put together some fun projects with summer colors for my Stamp Club and went to IKEA (did you hear angels singing?) that is one my favorite places to go for home decor and oRgAnIzInG.

Stamp Club SNEAK PEEK

So I first wanted to post a SNEAK PEEK of one of my projects for Stamp Club this Friday.

We will be using Stampin’ Up’s fantastic products to make
3 fun treat boxes and 2 cards.

Cool Finds for oRgAnIzInG

Next I wanted to show you some of my cool finds. Earlier this year I bought a cart from IKEA for crafting. This is such a handy piece to have. It rolls from room to room and you can put anything in it...AWESOME!!!

Then on Pinterest someone posted this organizer
that fits into the cart...woo hoo!

This is the Antonius insert found at IKEA for $3.

Look at how great this fits in.
I can't wait to get started on organizing!

Then at Michael's I found these super cute chevron plastic bins.
They will look great in my room.

Hope you enjoy...thanks for stopping by!

It's Friday!

Hello! With summer here sometimes I loose track of my days...except Fridays. It's pizza night and family time!

Camera Card

I've seen lots of cute camera cards on pinterest so I decided to try making my own. Following is my creation of a camera card. I used the circle treat cup for the lens.

If you would like to make this card you will need the #133774 Envelope Punch Board, #116802 Circle Treat Cups, #133504 Hip Notes Stamps, #119857 Word Window Punch, along with #120906     2 1/2" Circle, #1 3/4" Circle, #119869 3/4" Circle and #119869 1/2" Circle Punches.

Calling All Heroes Stamp Set

Calling All Heroes

There is a new photopolymer stamp set that was just released
#138002 Calling All Heroes.

This versatile set is like having a fully-stocked utility belt of iconic comic book imagery. It includes an alphabet, burst shapes, a cityscape and halftone pattern, and a variety of elements to piece together an original creation. What a great layout or birthday card this would make!

You can use the alphabet to stamp a custom POW!, ZAP!,
or whatever super-sayings you can dream up. And the #132968 Word Bubbles Framelits Die  can also provide great accents for
your comic-themed projects.

Birthday Treat Box

Happy Saturday! Today I would like to show you a treat box I made for one of my friend's birthday! I love making treat boxes especially when I have cute coordinating paper!

Birthday Treat Box

This is so easy to make I used 2 different sheet of card stock for the top. Next, I added ribbon across the box and embellished it with a letter, flowers and small pearls. TIP: It is important to use a good adhesive like tombo glue, red line tape or glue dots to adhere the card stock, ribbon and embellishments. There is a lot of wear and tear on the lid opening/closing the box.

I always put a poem or saying on the inside of the box.
It just adds an extra touch to it...making it more personalized.

Here are a couple of pics up close and personal.

This is the inside top of the box.

Check out the goodies inside the box.
I had to make sure the candy was fresh so I had a little sample...
yes, the Kit Kat's were Yummy!

Hope you enjoy...thanks for stopping by!

Cheers!

Hello! This morning I took Jadon to his ortho. doctor and after 5 long weeks he finally got his cast off...Woo Hoo! We can hang out at the pool now.

 Just no roughhousing with Zoe.

Happy Hour Card

I think this is such a cute stamp set...great for a girls night out, a friends birthday or your son getting his cast off :o).

I used the tri-fold card that I created for Easter here
This is fun and easy card to make.

For this card I used #126642 Happy Hour stamp set, #120906, 2 1/2" Circle punch, #118874 2 3/8" Scallop Circle Punch and #119882 Scallop Edge Border punch. I used melon mambo cardstock for the first card and strawberry slush for the second card. And for a little variation I changed up the thread on the cards below.

So if you're feeling creative, try using some new embellishments out of our new catalog or a different technique on your card.

Hope you enjoy...thanks for stopping by!

First Offical Day of Summer

Good Morning! It was so great to sleep in. And to top it off it rained all night long. I love sleeping in when it rains!

Tag A Bag Cards

I bought the #130153 Tag A Bag Accessory Kit awhile back and hadn't used it. I saw Erin Gonzales post a cute card with the tags and I just had to CASE it for my Stamp A Stack class.

To create all the cards I used the #132174 Stylish Stripes Embossing folder, #127526 Elegant Butterfly punch along with the #130153 Tag A Bag Accessory Kit. This is a great way to make some beautiful cards in just minutes!

I left the sentiment off so that I can use any of these cards
for the occasion it is needed.

Oops! My ribbon is missing...these two are my favs!

A Few Pics from Stamp A Stack

I starting doing a Stamp A Stack class last month and the girls loved it.
I have 4 different card designs and each person makes 3 of each card. So they leave with 12 pre-made cards and envelopes. Everything is pre-cut and ready to assemble and stamp. And they come comfy because there are lots of cards to make.

Here are Wendy (top) and Paula (bottom) showing off their cute cards.

End of the School Year!

Good Morning! Yesterday Chuck and I attended Roach's 7th Grade Award Assembly and Jadon received an award from Mrs. Segalini, his Spanish teacher. Que Bueno! We are so proud of him.

Jadon 7th grade - 2014

Mrs. Segalini presents Jadon with his medal:o)

Sweet Sorbet Card

Here is a card I cased from the creative Tammy Shaia for my Stamp A Stack Class. I used our SAB supplies to create this card. #133521 Sweet Sorbet Designer Paper, #133551 Banner Blast Stamp Set, #133522 Sweet Sorbet Accessory Pack, and #133520 Decorative Dots Embossing Folder.

I changed up the colors of the twine and ribbon for variation.

Another Oh Happy Day Card

Happy Thursday! Tomorrow is the last day of school...Woo Hoo! (If you could see me right now, I am doing my HaPpY dance.) I am so looking forward to sleeping in and not rushing off to take the kids to school.

Oh Happy Day Card

I created a graduation card here using the diagonal fold card and used the same template for my Stamp A Stack class. It is quick and easy to reproduce.

To make this card I used #130134 DSP Stack, #118309 Itty Bitty Punch Pack, #132967 Starburst Framelits, #133519 Banner Punch, #127811 1 1/4" Scallop Circle punch and the #133185 Starburst Sayings stamps.

Here is a side view...love it!!!

More Graduation...

Happy Sunday! I can't believe it's June...where has the time gone? Last night we made smores in the backyard and talked about our summer plans...Woo Hoo!

Hunter, Chuck and Jadon are ready to roast some marshmallows.

Me...enjoying time with my family.

OU Graduation Card

One of the girls from Nothing Bundt Cakes is headed to college (Christina) and we are taking her to dinner tonight to celebrate and wish her well. So here is a card I made for her.

My upline received this super cute birthday card with the front folded on the diagonal. So I decided this would be a great card to CASE. I love the way it came out! I used the #134818 Starburst Bundle, #133519 Banner Punch and #127811 Scallop Circle Punch to make this card.

The diagonal fold makes this such a striking card.

One more pic because it makes an AWESOME presentation!

This is the inside of the card. I used a dimensional on back of the celebrate stamped image to hold the card in place when it is folded on the diagonal.

Nancy, Lauren, Courtni, Mary, Cristina, Kacey, Tara and Me

The Nothing Bundt Cakes girls wish Cristina well as she heads off to college. We will miss you Cristina!

Hope you enjoy...thanks for stopping by!
