Lindt Baby Bunny Carrier

Happy Sunday! I wanted to post a project we made at Friday night's workshop...just in time for Easter!

I found a tutorial online for this super cute carrier for the Lindt Baby Bunnies...YUM!!!

He's so sweet all nestled in his custom carrier. And he can easily be removed without tearing the carrier.

To make this carrier I used the #129021 Window Framelits, #119855 Large Oval punch (for the box), #119882 Scallop Border punch, #133325 Fringe Scissors, #104294 Sticky Strip, #119247 Pearl, #133322 Petite Petal punch, Baked Brown Sugar, Crisp Cantaloupe, Strawberry Slush and Pear Pizzazz cardstock.

I made these for my two boys!

We’ve done everything possible to work with our manufacturer; unfortunately, with no solution in sight, we’ve had to make the difficult decision to discontinue this popular product line.

We have provided you with a Q & A in the hopes that this will answer any questions or concerns you may have.

Thank you for your support as we continue to look for products that will meet our customer’s needs and provide you with the quality that you have come to expect from Stampin’ Up!

More sad NEWS....

My Digital Studio thru Stampin' Up! is being discontinued.

I know many of you loved MDS and this makes me sad.

As this happens if you have questions, please let me know. I want to support all of you who have purchased this product.

First I want to stress to everyone that you HAVE to get all of your downloads off the Stampin' Up! website and onto your hard drives. And you HAVE to back that up since you will not be able to retrieve after May 31, 2015. You can upload to Dropbox.

You can still use MDS. The software investment costs are not gone.
It uses Vector images that can be purchased online thru many websites.

Also, in researching my upline has found that http://www.persnicketyprints.com
will print your mds creations.
They print calendars, cards and many other things such as Instagram mini books!

Cheers!

Good Afternoon! I made this cute little "pot of gold" last year and it was such a hit I decided to redesign it this year using a green mustache and fill it with Hershey Nuggets...YUM!

Pot of Gold

For the redesign I used the #133741 Mustache Framelit, #132173 Banner Framelit and #137547 Mini Treat Bag Thinlits for the cute little bow.

Following are the directions.

The pieces you will need:
5 1/2" x 4 1/2" score at 1 1/2" all on four sides
2 - 3" circles

2 strips 1/4" x 4"
1/2" x 5 1/2"
First cut and score the box (I used yellow for my template)
5 1/2" x 4 1/2" and score at 1 1/2" all on four sides

To make the box attach your red line tape as follows.

For the 2 - 3" circles trim 7/8" from the top of each circle and 1/8" from the bottom of each circle. Next adhere the 1/4" x 4" strip to each circle and trim diagonally for a finished look to make the pot (caldron). When attaching the caldron to the box, line the top of the box with the top of the caldron.

After adding the trimmed circles (caldron) to each side you will attach the 1/2" x 5 1/2" piece of cardstock on each side of the caldron with a large glue dot to create the handle.

In Like a Lion and Out Like a Lamb!

Hello Everyone! Sorry my posts have been sporadic. I think I am finally getting back into the groove again.

“In like a lion, out like a lamb” has always seemed a straightforward  proverb: when March starts, it’s still winter, and by the end of the month spring has begun. I sure hope that is true for us here in Texas!

These are the beautiful views from my scrapbook room:o).

Giving Back to Our Community!

I wanted to post some cards that our Sisters of Scripture Bible Study made for a Prayer Shawl Ministry. These two ministries presented my family with a beautiful shawl that was prayed over by the sisters after we lost our wonderful PaPa. I can't tell you how much that meant to our family...we are so very blessed!

These special cards will accompany a Prayer Shawl for those in need.
