Blast from the Past


Hello! I was going thru some of my projects from the past and I thought I share one of my favorites with you all...again.

Top Note Owl Goodie Bag

 


Please read instructions all the way through before you begin.

Supplies:

Cutting Dimensions:
·      Soft Suede Card Stock - 4” x 5” (to die cut)
·      Pumpkin Pie Card Stock - Punch 1 – Sm. Heart Punch/Heart to Heart Punch

For Small Eyes
·     Basic Black Card Stock - Punch 2 – 3/4” Circles
·     Baja Breeze Card Stock - Punch 2 - 1” Circles
·     Whisper White Card Stock - Punch 2 – 1 3/8” Circles
·     Soft Suede Card Stock –Punch 1 -- 1 3/8” Circle and cut in half for eyelid

For Large Eyes
·     Basic Black Card Stock - Punch 2 – 1” Circles
·     Baja Breeze Card Stock - Punch 2 – 1 3/8” Circles
·     Whisper White Card Stock - Punch 2 – 1 3/4” Circles
·     Soft Suede Card Stock –Punch 1 - 1 3/4” Circle and cut in half for eyelid

Instructions:

1. Take the Soft Suede card stock and run it thru the Big Shot with the Top Note die.

2. Score across the center of the Top Note die cut so that it’s approximately 2 ¼” when folded in half. This is the topper for your goodie bag.
 
3. Distress edges of the owls face and eye lids with chocolate chip ink.

4. Layer the circles largest to smallest to create the eyes using SNAIL adhesive, then adhere to one side of the topper.
 
5. Use small heart punch as his beak. Adhere to topper with adhesive.

6. Fill cellophane bag with candy (nuggets/rolos) and fold over top edge approximately ½” to close. Adhere the topper over the top folded edge of the cellophane bag with adhesive.
