Merry Little Christmas Card

I cased this beautiful card from Jennifer Timko on Pinterest. #131829 Merry Little Christmas stamps and #132181 Season of Style DSP are the supplies used to make this card. I have to tell you the Season of Style DSP has made it so easy to duplicate cards because they are pre-cut    (4 1/2" - 6 1/2") double-sided designer sheets, ready to use.

Snow Day Card

 
So in honor of our Winter Wonderland I thought this card was perfect to show you! My boys jumped for joy last night when they saw the early cancellation for school.

The stamp set is called #131895 Snow Day...perfect for the DFW area today! Also used was the #132171 Expressions Thinlits Dies. I used #131179 Smokey Slate stamp pad for the snow man.

TIP: When using the expressions thinlits put a piece of wax paper on top of the thinlit, then the cardstock and run thru the #113439 Big Shot. Your image will pop right out of the die!

I am off to my scrapbook room to craft and enjoy this crazy weather!

Day 5

Brrr! This weather is crazy. Yesterday it was a beautiful 70 degrees and now it is 34 degrees! Very cold...but I need to get some Christmas shopping done. So I'm gonna bundle up and head out. Stay warm!

Whimsical Christmas Card

This is one of my favorite cards...I love bright and sparkley! I used the #133480 Circle Card Thinlits to create it. Using this thinlit gives the card a "flip" effect. The stamp sets used were #131745 Color Me Christmas and #131793 Christmas Messages.

Holly Jolly Gift Card Holder

This quick and easy gift card holder was made with the #132172 Envelope Liners Framelits, #132340 Season of Style DSP and #131823 Tags 4 You stamp set.

Oval Punch Bow

Did you notice that cute little bow on the side?  Following is a picture showing you how to make it using the #119859 Extra-Large Oval Punch and the #119855 Large Oval Punch. You can use a #102300 bone folder to curl the ovals. For the tails on the bow you can either hand cut or use a square punch. The small strip that is wrapped around is 1/4" x 3". You can use Mini Glue Dots or Tombo glue to assemble.

Holly Jolly Holiday Box

This holiday box came from Sam Donald. It measures 4" x 2 1/2". It is a great box for a Christmas gift or candy!

If you are new to making boxes it is important to have a good scoring tool because your measurements need to be accurate and your folds crisp. Stampin' Up has an awesome #122334 Scoring Tool.

Challenge Accepted...Day 1

Happy December! There are only 24 days till Christmas...like you needed to know that right? 

My friend Kelly opened up her house to a Holiday Open House and we had a great turn out. I met some fun and crafty chics. I am always amazed by other people's talents. 

Ok now for my first card...

 

This is a very simple yet beautiful Christmas card. I just love the #131835 O Holy Night stamp set. I embossed the image using white embossing powder onto basic black cs and used #101731 white craft ink on the edges to give it the chalkboard effect. The banner was mounted on a sheet of the #132181 Season of Style DSP. I then tied a basic loose knot for the bow with the #132135 Cherry Cobbler Grosgrain Ribbon.
