Hey Everybody! Hope you had a great weekend. We sure did...it was beautiful and warm. Unlike this morning 30 degrees. So I made a few things over the weekend and wanted to share.

Valentine Treat Bag

I used the #133143 Love You to the Moon stamp set, #132995 Kaleidoscope DSP and #132996 Fresh Prints DSP for this Valentine gift bag. This can easily be made into a card for your Valentine.

Hope you enjoy...thanks for stopping by!

TGIF

Woo Hoo...it's Friday! I have always loved Fridays...to me that means it's the end of the week and time to spend time with my family.

Today I wanted to share with you a sweet treat you may want to make for your little Valentine's? I made these treat boxes with my left over paper stash and plastic boxes I found at Hobby Lobby in the bead section. I decorated the front of the boxes, embellished and added goodies inside.

Embellish your boxes with ribbon, stickers, flowers, jewels or whatever you can find. As one of my Soul Sisters would say 'its all about the details.'

I love the googly eyes on the bugs!

Hope you enjoy...thanks for stopping by!

Crazy Weather

Good Morning! I hope you all are keeping warm. Here in Texas we go from 70 degrees to 30 degrees in a matter of hours...CRAZY!!!

Look at these cute little cups. These are 2 3/8" tall and about 4 oz. Great for m&m's, red hots or Hershey kisses.

Mini Coffee Cups

The two stamp sets used for this project are #133143 Love You to the Moon and #131853 Love You More along with the #130136 DSP Paper Stack.

These mini coffee cups/lids were purchased online at www.webstaurantstore.com.

Becky Roberts designed this cute little carrier for them. Following are the directions.
  1. Box is 4" x 6-3/4".  Score all 4 sides at 1".
  2. Cut on two opposite sides of the score lines up to the intersecting score line.
  3. Cut the corners off on the diagonal to avoid any pesky hang overs and then assemble into a box.
  4. Handle is 1-7/8" x 11".  Score at 1-1/2", 5-1/2" and 9-1/2".  Fold in half and secure with adhesive.
  5. Use the small oval punch to make an hole for carrying.
  6. Fold the flaps out and secure to the inside of the box with Sticky Strip.

These were so fun to make!

Happy Monday!

Hello! I hope you all are enjoying a morning home with the kids. I sure am. We are going to grab some lunch together and enjoy the day!

On Friday I had my first Stamp A Stack Workshop. It was so much fun. The girls went home with a 'stack' of 12 cards ready to send out. Everything was pre-cut and ready to be assembled and stamped.

January Stamp A Stack

The Stamp A Stack included Thank you, Get Well, Hello and
Happy Birthday cards.

Wendy and Paula show off their hard work...the cards looked AWESOME!

These 3 cards used Stampin' Up's new #132173 Banners Framelit along with the #129983 Chalk Talk Framelit, #131344 Yippee-Skippee and See Ya Later stamp set from the Sale-A-Bration Catalog which is FREE when you purchase $50 or more.

This beautiful card is very easy to make. The #125603 Blossom and #119854 1 3/4" Scallop Circle punches were used to make the flower. Punch 2 of each flower and crumble. Then accent with a #117273 Vintage Brad and attach with a glue dot. That's it!

The blossom punch was also used for this card along with the #125537 Mixed Bunch stamp set. To make the flower #101731 White Craft Ink was stamped onto the #101856 White Vellum. TIP: After stamping with white craft ink allow 10 minutes to dry.

For this sweet and simple card I used the #132730 Chalk Talk Bundle, #125596 Heart Embosslits and #101406 StazOn Black Ink.
TIP: When you order the bundle you save 15%.

The card is an Oldie but Goodie. When we made this card last year the girls loved it. The stamp set used was Word Play (retired). To make the band-aid I used the #119976 Square Lattice and #117335 Polka Dot embossing folders.

Hope you enjoy...thanks for stopping by!

Happy Wednesday!

Things are getting back to normal around our house. And I have been on a crafting streak! If you hadn't noticed I love making all kinds of treat boxes and filling them with Chocolate. My next project uses two of our newest products #133323 Angled Tag Topper punch and #133143 Love You to the Moon stamp set.

To make this project you will need a 2" x 5" piece of cardstock. Score at  1 3/4" and 3 1/4". Next you will slide the cardstock all the way into the punch and press. Then turn the cardstock around and repeat. Stamp your image. Wrap 4 nuggets and place them in the middle. (I used a little adhesive to keep the nuggets in place). Then thread ribbon thru the holes and tie. TIP: I used a bone folder to curl the ends of the cardstock so the ends would come together to thread the ribbon.

Hope you enjoy...thanks for stopping by!

What Happened?

How is it that one whole week has come and gone? I had a huge "To Do" list but it just didn't happen! I don't know about you but I just love crossing off all the things I accomplish. Last week wasn't the case. Chuck was traveling, I was working and the boys had soccer/basketball games. So I am very sorry I didn't have a chance to post but I did work on some cards and treats.

And my goodies came in...Woo Hoo!

Here is my first Valentine card...this is one of my favorites.
It's beautiful and simple to make.

I hope you were able to get the Expressions Thinlits Dies. It was in the 2013 Holiday catalog. I also used a new embossing folder from the Sale-A-Bration Catalog which is FREE when you order $50 or more starting January 25 - March 31. These are exclusive products that cannot be purchased.

The inspiration for this sweet treat came from Becky Roberts. This wrap will fit a miniature Hershey bar. I used the #127003 Apothecary Accents Framelit, #119868 1" Circle punch, #127811 7/8" Scallop Circle punch,  #117193 Small Heart punch and #127751 Fancy Fan Embossing Folder. This is fast and easy to duplicate.

Hope you enjoy...thanks for stopping by!
