A Fond Farewell

Happy Birthday Cards

On Friday my BFF came over and we laughed, crafted and ate lunch. And I made some much needed Birthday cards! 

I am so sorry that you are unable to order the #137363 Hello You Thinlits right now. There is ongoing contract negotiations between the International Longshore & Warehouse Union and Pacific Maritime Association resulting in massive delays. I spoke to Stampin' Up and they will be available but do not have an estimated date. I will keep you posted. They have been updating us on the progress of this situation.

FYI...Photopolymer Stamps

  

Did you know that you can not use Black StazOn on your Photopolymer stamp sets? It will stain your polymer and StazOn Remover will damage the stamp. Black StazOn is for red rubber only. Your best option for stamping with black and Photopolymer is to use #132708 Tuxedo Black Momento Ink.

Hello!

It's almost Friday...woo hoo! Just wanted to share a few projects with you today. Also, next Tuesday, April 21, Stampin' Up's retirement list will be out.

Hello Card

I just love to use dark and bright colors together. For this card I used the #137363 Hello You Thinlet Die, #127821 Woodgrain Embossing Folder, #133787 Itty Bitty, #133519 Banner, #133322 Petite Petals Punches and the #118138 Beautiful Wings Embossit.

Mini Treat Bags

I made a few of these treat bags to have on hand because you never know when you will be celebrating something special. I used the #137547 Mini Treat Bag Thinlit Die along with the #133723 Star framelit. These were so simple and fun to make.

And last but not least is the treat bag that I made for Valentine's Day.

Hello! Yesterday was an absolutely gorgeous day...a cloudy, rainy day with everything coming into full bloom. So I grabbed my camera and captured a few photos :o).

There is inspiration all around you.

Birthday Card

Here is a fun and colorful birthday card I created using my goodies from the Occasions Catalog #137363 Hello You Thinlets, #137362 Balloon Framelits and the #137783 Birthday Bash DSP.

All my best ideas come to me in the middle of the night! I couldn't figure out what to do for the strings of the balloons so I went to bed. And when I woke up I knew what to do...cut a sliver of cardstock and wrap it around my paper piercer and ta-da! Curly cues on my balloons.

I keep a SU container of extra pieces on my desk and when I am needing that little extra...I look in this for my inspiration!

Good Friday

 On this Good Friday may we never forget the true meaning of Easter. 'For when He was on the cross, I was on His mind.'

Hello! Just wanted to post a few more Easter treats I made last night for the girls at work.

Easter Treat Holders

I was at Hobby Lobby and saw this colorful Easter paper...so I bought a few sheets.

 And this is what I came up with "sour cream containers."

These are so easy and fun to make and only require a trimmer and adhesive. I used sticky strip to make the cylinder part and snail for the top and bottom. So you can easily open it to get to the goodies! I filled mine with Hershey's Chocolate eggs, Kisses and mini Peanut Butter Cups...YUM!!!

The measurement for my sour cream container is 4 1/4" x 5 1/2".

Tip: I use the bone folder to help curl the paper before I added the adhesive.

Carrot Treat

I found these chocolate carrots at Walmart for $1 a bag and just had to get them. I made this matchbox holder for the carrot.

The measurements I used were 2 3/4" x 6 1/4". Score on the long side at 1/2", 3 1/4", 3 3/4". I used the #119859 Extra Large Oval punch and a glue dot to attach the carrot to the cardstock. So easy to reproduce!
